Public Works Staff will pick up brush on a regular schedule between March and October. The schedule will be established by Village Staff and available at Village Hall. Special picks ups may occur after severe weather at the discretion of the Village Administration
Brush must be placed behind the curb or next to the pavement. Brush and leaves should not be placed on the pavement may not be picked up if they are located there.
Brush, bushes and branches must meet the following criteria for pickup:
o Diameter less than 4"
o Length less than 6’
o Free of Dirt, metal, plastic, and other debris
o Materials should be stacked as much as possible in the same direction to enable easy pickup.
The following will not be collected:
o Entire Trees (must be cut into smaller segments)
o Trees, branches, or landscaping waste generated by a professional service
o Any branch or material greater than 4" in Diameter
o Materials that are covered in dirt (i.e. root balls) or items that are mixed with plastics or metals or other debris
o Lumber (landscaping or general construction materials)
o Railroad ties, utility poles

April 11th & 25th
May 9th & 23rd
June 13th & 27th
July 11th & 25th
August 8th & 22nd
September 12th & 26th
October 10th – Last regular brush collection week for 2016
